Goatsilk was formed in 2002 as a gallery space on the outskirts of Missoula, MT by Ben Bloch and Caroline Peters. The gallery ceased running in 2004 after a string of exhibits including the Ebay show, Collective Ring, The LED sign, A Wedding Suite, and Fill:Full. As a creative force Goatsilk has morphed many times, and involved a variety of people in their projects, including computers programmers, actors, writers and other artists. In the midst of all this changing, we find we keep returning to the Internet as the place where art and audience seem most alive, where desire and possibility shake out truly. In that spirit we present SILKBLOG, a venue for presenting new ideas and creations, as well as for commenting on and sharing on the world of today, in all of its magic, humor, and violence.
