Check out this cell phone video I took a few months ago of my friend Karl drunk solo dancing to his favorite Jazz song by The Bad Plus. The vid reminds me of one of those heart-stringy “old footage” commercials attempting to prevent drunk driving by memorializing the happy life-loving people who are killed in accidents. In Karl’s case, neither is true, though it makes me chuckle a little (in that macabre way) to think that this is the commercial I would make if Karl drove drunk and fatally rammed himself into a tree or something.
